Position Responsibilities:In this exciting role, you will perform office duties on many different types of tasks, using ESRI GIS software products and other geospatial platforms. You will learn and work on projects such as asset collection surveys, GIS surveys, UAS remote sensing, Laser Scanning, and others. Other duties include, but are not limited to, updating existing geodatabase files, digitizing underground utilities and surface features, georeferencing imagery, preparing data for QC, creating webmaps, story maps, interactive dashboards, and status-tracking web applications, working with ArcGIS for desktop to create high quality maps, and assisting with GIS requests from internal clients.

Position Qualifications:High School Degree or equivalent, required.Associate degree or higher, preferred, in GIS, geography, environmental, natural resources, urban planning, geology, forestry, or another related field.3 years of relevant experience required, in Geospatial roles such as GIS field technician, or other roles related to geography (may include internships and/or college experience).Advanced experience and knowledge in ESRI's ArcPro software capabilities (ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, Story Maps, Experience Builder) and the ability to perform basic routine data input, data query and analysis.Experience with ESRI field collection applications required (e.g., Survey 1 2 3, Field Maps).Driver's license, required.Acceptable drug test and driving record check.Basic arithmetic and mathematical skills to perform calculations, as well as basic computer skills.Ability to work within a team structure to provide input and assistance on projects.Belief that Trust, Humility, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, and Discipline are important values to embrace and live out.Legal authorization to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for an employment-based visa.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:You are willing and able to work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to lots of light, both natural and artificial. Workstations are in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from co-workers throughout the day. Within the office you are willing and able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.Additional requirements include providing on-site technical assistance by occasionally accessing client or construction sites with varying terrain. You are willing and able to occasionally move and operate data collection equipment.Our Team:Stewart's Geomatics group captures, processes, and delivers spatially acquired data in a wide variety of avenues to include traditional land surveying, global positioning systems, laser scanning and unmanned aerial systems (drones). This information can be presented through traditional CAD drawings, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 3D models, photography, videography, or combination thereof.
