Position Objective

Tickets are the lifeblood of sports. So, we start our people on our lifeblood-remember, that's tickets. We don't give you the phone book and tell you to go sell. Our philosophy is train, train, train, and when we get tired of that, we train some more. Our goal is to accelerate your growth as fast as we can. This position will be selling tickets, including: group game or event tickets, and packages. We don't expect that you'll know how to sell our ticket offerings, so we provide training starting with how to help the decision maker select which is best for them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gain knowledge of ticketing system to answer questions and troubleshoot any customer issuesGame day responsibilities include: box office operations, answering incoming calls & emails, and/or prospecting clients at the stadiumLeverage best practices to sell ticketsMaintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed salesAssist with ticket holder gift distributionOther duties as assignedQualifications
Do you want to be a superstar in sports business? That's the first qualification. If you answered yes, then answer two more questions: (1) Do you have a strong work ethic? and (2) Do you have a desire to learn and excel?
You should have strong communication skills (you have to talk to people), and a willingness to listen and learn. If you don't have sales experience, don't worry about it because we don't worry about it.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferredStrong organizational skillsStrong verbal communication, networking and relationship building skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environmentBasic understanding of technology systems and Internet applications as well as CRM systemsWorking knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suiteExperience in Tickets.com, Ticketmaster Archtics, and other ticketing systems a plus, but not required
How Much Will You Make?
You'll make a base salary plus commissions. First year compensation should be around $35,000, and then increase each year depending on your sales volume. This position also includes full health benefits.
