Our client, a local San Diego Automotive Manufacturing organization, is seeking a talented Sales Manager to add to their team.

Responsibilities:New Business Development - identify, pursue, negotiate, develop, and implement plan with new accounts.Engage with external sales force and customer facing departments, ensure new product opportunities are identified, and developed with a thorough understanding of end user and dealer channel requirements.Understand competitors, their offerings (products & services), and develop counter measures.Collect and analyze sales data and trends.Provide input for forecasting, sales tracking, and other business metrics as required.Customer development plans to support sustainable growth.Work closely with senior management in sales and marketing to develop account strategies and tactics.Establish and maintain close interaction with all other sales teams, marketing, and customer experience departments to create programs.Identify and capture additional opportunities that may exist with or around a core product during its life cycle.Development of the Aftermarket long term strategy and implementation of an action plan to secure the strategic plan short-term and mid-term.Attend and work trade shows and events.Works with management on aftermarket product growth strategies and development initiatives.Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Management role, specifically within the automotive industryHave a thorough understanding of manufacturing, business processes and managementHave an aptitude for process management and customer/supplier relationship managementBe a competent leader with the ability to motivate and manage in a competitive sales environmentProven ability to coach and develop others to a high degree of integrity and honesty in all dealingsHave Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressureIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
