As municipal infrastructure ages, the need for assessing, planning and prioritizing assets becomes increasingly necessary. BETA utilizes the latest in geospatial technologies to provide our clients with content rich data driven solutions for implementing infrastructure repairs and expansions. Responsibilities:
Assist with the coordination and advancement of multiple municipal and state related projectsConduct geospatial analysis, asset planning, gap analyses and project prioritizationStay abreast with the latest developments in the GIS field & other technologiesPlan and schedule assignments, tasks, and fieldwork.Perform complex GIS procedures and data analysesDevelop, support, and provide training with ESRI based web applications; WebApps, Dashboards, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, etc.Working within a team environment to develop geographic database structures, tables, forms, and reports.Provide GIS related technical support with internal and external clientsPerform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic componentsWork cooperatively with other office staff and/or project managers to complete assigned workDevelop and retain client relationshipsAnticipate client needs and articulate client expectationsAbility to manage workload effectively and efficientlyPreferred location is BETA's Lincoln office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations. BETA also offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing employees to request working remotely up to 2 days per week.

Skills Required:
A solid understanding of technical application, concepts, principals, and theories in GISBachelor's degree in GIS, Engineering, Environmental Resources, or a related field3-5+ years of relevant experienceAn understanding of geospatial data such as modeling, scrubbing, manipulation, hierarchies, maintenance, and relationships with specific experience focused on Asset Management.Experience with ESRI suite of tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, etc.)Provide the utmost professionalism when dealing with clients (internal and external), vendors, sub-contractors, as well as colleagues and peersExtensive experience in map generation and visualizationMust be able to collect field data and measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets; and perform asset inspectionsMust be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 poundsMust be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of timeMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred Experience:
Knowledge of python programming and SQL server is a plusFamiliarity with AI concepts and applications is a plusAbout BETA:
