FreedomVillage, a debt free Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) is seeking ahighly motivated individual with strong, communication, marketing and salesskills to act as the internal and external Community Relations Director for the community. This position promotes Freedom Village's Assisted Living andSkilled Nursing to internal residents and the public.

Thisrole actively, positively promotes the higher levels of care to IndependentLiving Residents. The Community Relations Director works with residents andfamilies on the transition process to the Assisted Living or Skilled Nursingfrom initial inquiry/assessment to move-in day. The Community RelationsDirector also promotes Freedom Village Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing to avariety of external groups ranging from families, social workers, dischargeplanners, doctors, board and care homes, other assisted living and otherskilled nursing facilities. The passion and energy that is inside is essentialin building trusting relationships.

Responsibilities:

Builds a professional, local network to help increase referrals toFreedom Village Assisted Living and Skilled NursingTransitioning Independent Living residents to Assisted Living orSkilled Nursing from initial inquiry to move-in dayParticipates and supports the Independent Living and Healthcare Centermarketing programs and events, onsite and offsiteResponds to all internal and external inquiries regarding placement inthe Health CenterDevelops and maintains relationships with hospital discharge planners,ER, case managers, senior organizations, medical professionals, and othercommunity contacts to advise them of room and bed availability. This includessix bed board and care homes, assisted living communities and skilled nursingcenters in the areaSponsors special events and presentations targeted at communityeducation, establishing and maintaining status for the community as the experton Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities in thecommunityEstablishes marketing plan for visiting hospitals, doctors offices ona regular basisAttends local networking events, schedules/coordinates luncheons fordoctor's offices, medical groups, brings feel good treats to case managers athospitals, provides good neighbor treats to local businessesAbility to market all levels of care in networking, one-on one andgroup tour situationsFocuses on meeting the desired occupancy of Assisted Living andSkilled NursingDesired Skills andExperience:

A passion for working with seniorsExperience in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory Care or aContinuing Care Retirement Community required. Knowledge of Title 22, Medicare,Medicaid and Managed CareSuccessful demonstration of strong marketing and sales skillsExperience in developing relationships with hospitals, physicians, andcoordinating marketing eventsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professionaldemeanor; strong organizational skillsComputer skills required in Microsoft Word, Excel and otherspecialized computer programsExperience with CRM programs to track referrals and prospects

Scheduleis Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Some weekend work required. *Schedule mayneed to shift on certain days for early marketing events or late networkingevents.
