This position is responsible for receiving, verifying, and inspecting materials transferred from the warehouse for the plating process. Loader/unloaders are accountable for size and count verification, ensuring conformance to all specifications for the plating line, and for maintaining established production and quality standards. Will be responsible for maintaining documentation, as required, and adhering to all safety rules and practices. Will perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

What You'll Do:

Loads and unloads parts on rack in accordance with established plating procedures.Records parts and racks on production log sheets legibly and accurately.Inspects plated parts for appearance, adhesion, and thickness according to customer specifications.Keeps floors, stands, racks and immediate work area clean and free of clutter and debris.Follows all safety rules and practices.Performs routine preventative maintenance as needed.Operates forklift as needed.Follows all quality standards and procedures.Communicates issues and/or concerns to line lead.Follows all GF&P policies and procedures.Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years old.Legible handwriting.Ability to follow written instructions accurately.Ability to use measuring instruments, gauges, and test equipment proficiently and accurately.Have proficient understanding of decimals and fractions.Ability to work well with other people and demonstrate team player behavior.Must possess and demonstrate good written and communication skills.Ability to lift to 70 pounds at frequent intervals.Must maintain "meets expectation" attendance, safety, and job performance evaluations.This job requires standing, stooping, and bending 100% of the time.Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm
