Job Objective:
Doffs rolls of cloth off the take up and replace with empty tube, prepares paperwork, transports cloth to grading frame using battery operated hand truck.Safely operates battery powered hand truckDoffs full roll of cloth from take-up and replaces with empty tubeRecords loom #, date, etc. on paperworkTransports cloth roll to grading frameStamps cloth with appropriate shift at end of each day, being careful not to spill ink on floor, clothChecks warps on all looms before doffing big rolls. Must not doff these if they are about to warp out.Follows safety rules prescribed by the Harris PlantWorks safely around moving partsReads basic written instructions and writes legiblyUnderstands verbal instructionsDistinguishes colors in stock-in-process and wasteWears ear plugs/muffs, respirator/dust mask, goggles/eye protection, and other protective pieces of equipmentSchedule:
