Position Overview:

Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), you will partner with Zero’s Operations, Information Technology, Finance and HR organizations to drive business performance and employee engagement. Additionally, you will have primary responsibility for creating company-wide solutions in the areas of Manager Development, Career Development, Performance Management and Employee Engagement. This is a unique opportunity to both hone your Business Partnering skills and exercise your program creation/Center of Excellence skills – allowing you to create, tailor, implement, assess and improve in one role.

Deliverables:

Help achieve Zero’s aggressive business goals by partnering with organizational leaders to ensure we have the

right structure

with the

right talent

in the

right place

at the

right time . Where we don’t, develop and execute plans to get there.

Assess and improve organizational effectiveness using metrics and analytics (both qualitative and quantitative).

Improve manager effectiveness through assessment, program creation & implementation, and coaching.

Drive employee engagement through assessment, issue identification & prioritization, program creation, roll out, measurement, and improvement.

Help managers resolve performance and employee relations issues; lead investigations as needed. Identify trends and create one-to-many solutions (as opposed to one-to-one solutions).

Must Haves:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Organizational Psychology or related field.

Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in many of the core HR sub-functions; including Business Partnering, Total Rewards, HR Systems & Analytics, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Management Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Engagement.

Strong diagnostic skills – both organization and people-related.

Experience in tech, automotive, or other electrification industries.

Prior experience supporting Manufacturing or Engineering organizations.

Ability to deal with ambiguity, prioritize, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.

Strong influence skills – written and verbal.

Strong presentation skills.

Strong analytical skills with experience making data-informed decisions.

Bias for action.

Experience supporting hourly/non-exempt workforces.

Knowledge of CA labor laws.

Nice to Haves:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Organizational Psychology or related field.

Prior EV industry experience.

Passion for reducing the effects of climate change by revolutionizing transportation and recreation.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $240,000
