We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic marketer to join our North Central marketing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving proposal development to support our growth in the Waste Market Sector and Remediation Practice. Collaborating closely with the Waste Sector Marketing Lead, Waste Business Development Lead, and Remediation Practice Lead, you will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience with impactful messaging. You will also lead the development of client plans that drive market expansion and revenue growth.Responsibilities

In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies through capture planning for upcoming project opportunities.Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materials.Develop and manage proposal work plans and schedules and confirm compliance to RFP documents.Engage the appropriate marketing and technical resources in pursuit teams.Lead quality reviews of proposal and interview materials.Administer implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR's Matrix of Authority.Lead or support development and implementation of client development plans, including long-term strategies to capture market share.Coach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentations or client meetings.Facilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitiveness.Support creation of marketing collateral to support business development efforts.Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices.Articulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantages.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional services.Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire others.Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person.Demonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff.Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.Experience in sales and developing effective win strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.What We Believe

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
