In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving proposal development to support our growth in the Waste Market Sector and Remediation Practice. Collaborating closely with the Waste Sector Marketing Lead, Waste Business Development Lead, and Remediation Practice Lead, you will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience with impactful messaging. You will also lead the development of client plans that drive market expansion and revenue growth.The ideal candidate is someone who embodies the qualities of ownership, professionalism, leadership, responsiveness, adaptability, a passion for continuous improvement, with a deep appreciation for teamwork. If you take pride in your responsibilities, uphold the highest standards of professionalism, and inspire others through your leadership then this is the role for you.In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to:Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies through capture planning for upcoming project opportunitiesFacilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialsDevelop and manage proposal work plans and schedules and confirm compliance to RFP documentsEngage the appropriate marketing and technical resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsAdminister implementation of the go/no-go decision process in accordance with HDR’s Matrix of AuthorityLead or support development and implementation of client development plans, including long-term strategies to capture market shareCoach interview teams to be effective at delivering key messages during interview presentations or client meetingsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessSupport creation of marketing collateral to support business development effortsTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR’s capabilities and competitive advantagesPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related fieldDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-personDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffRequired QualificationsA minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightExperience in sales and developing effective win strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
