From employee relations and talent acquisition to payroll and benefits, you'll handle it all with strategic insight and hands-on leadership. You'll work closely with managers across locations, using your communication skills and business savvy to shape our culture and support our growth.Roles & Responsibilities:Provide counsel to managers and employees regarding HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance and support with company guidelines, employment law, union contracts, and company culture.Recommend best practices to maintain employment law compliance and communicate changes.Responsible for leading, developing, and coaching the HR team, including performance management and employee development.Oversee investigations of complaints of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct and ensure steps are taken to address the issue.Serve as the Chief Negotiator for the collective bargaining agreements.Work with contracted benefits consultants to evaluate and select health and other benefit products and services.Oversee compensation alignment and equity in preparing annual salary recommendations, internal transfers, market adjustments, and promotional recommendations.Coordinate and collaborate with managers to implement performance reviews and lead the annual review process.Consult with the senior leadership team and lead talent assessment and succession planning initiatives.Implement talent management initiatives and support and monitor high-potential talent development activities.Train employees and managers on HR topics, including creating content, and coordinate company-wide training with operations, marketing, and leadership.Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements for effective and efficient HR processes.Demonstrate Cemstone Values: Demand Safety/Expect Integrity/Drive Excellence/Embrace Collaboration/Empower Innovation.Required Skills & Experience:Ten-plus years of HR experience.At least five years of management experience managing managers and individual contributors.Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.Working knowledge of HR principles, concepts, employment law, and best practices.Experience in strategic planning and goal setting, leading and managing projects, and developing and delivering reports to the senior leadership team.Ability to handle work pressures and conflicting demands positively.Capable of making quick and responsible decisions in a fast-paced environment.PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.Experience working with a unionized workforce is desirable.About Versique:At Versique, we believe people are more than a resume.
