If you are someone who brings a unique perspective and a genuine commitment to equity and inclusion, we invite you to join us in our mission.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and organizational development.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and standard payroll and benefit databases.SHRM or HRCI certification is desirable.Major Responsibilities:Employee Relations Management:Proactively manage and address employee relations matters, conflicts, and concerns to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Employee Wellness and Engagement:Enhance employee wellness programs, promoting a healthy work-life balance and mental well-being.Culture Development and Compliance:In close coordination with the Chief Operating Officer, develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current employment laws and regulations.*$100K -$130k annually with a competitive benefits package that includes 100% employer paid medical and dental insurance, 4 weeks accrued vacation, and access to a 403b retirement plan. Under California law, Homeward Bound is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary or hourly rate outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.
