The successful candidate is a collaborative problem solver with strong in-house generalist skills.

As Associate Corporate Counsel, you will join the Evolve Legal Team and collaborate with other legal professionals and leaders across our organization to address a wide range of legal and business challenges. What you’ll do

Collaborate regularly with the General Counsel and executive team to establish legal and compliance priorities.

Work directly with our business teams to draft and negotiate contracts of all kinds, including technology license agreements, partner and distribution agreements, professional service agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other general commercial agreements.

Lead the claims and litigation processes related to property owners, customers, and partners. Navigate insurance coverage and insurance regulations. Develop tracking systems, document management, and reporting functions for claims.

Advise on contract compliance and navigate disputes and disagreements with vendors and partners.

Work with business teams to execute business initiatives and transactions.

Advise the company on a wide range of legal and policy matters.

Liaise with outside law firms across a variety of practice areas, while balancing cost and effectiveness in the delivery of legal services to our stakeholders.

Support the creation of policies, procedures, and compliance plans in collaboration with leaders from across the company and under the guidance of the Corporate Counsel/General Counsel.

What makes you a great fit

Juris Doctor (JD), Bar certified, and eligible to qualify for the Colorado Bar.

4+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a law firm or in-house environment.

In-house experience preferred with a mix of the following: contract drafting and negotiation, litigation and claims management, hospitality industry experience, or regulatory compliance.

Strong understanding of growth companies and experience working directly with business teams

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Interest in and comfort with navigating complex and ambiguous legal and business issues.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Experience synthesizing information from numerous sources and communicating concise analyses to senior management.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $141,000 to $163,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
