Job/ Position Summary:

The Clinical Director is responsible for the programmatic and clinical supervision of all NOVA TC programs. The Clinical Director provides clinical supervision, case review and consultation, and employee training.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Master’s Degree in Human Services field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Sociology preferred. Licensed as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADC) required.

Six years experience in a clinical setting.

Three years managerial experience to include supervision of employees.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Major Responsibilities

Supervise, evaluate and manage employees in the residential and programs.

Assist the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer with the planning and implementation of improvements in the treatment community, and provide evaluation of program needs in order to make recommendations in program design, development and implementation.

Make immediate therapeutic interventions in crisis situations using effective professional judgment and clinical skills.

Supervise/conduct case reviews with clinical employees and make recommendations regarding admission, status changes, discharge planning and adverse incidents.

Provide direct counseling as needed as a model for employee training or for difficult/complex cases.

Complete required supervisory reports in a timely manner including Time Sheets, Performance Evaluations, Incident Reports, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
