Job Summary:Join Hawaiis leading distributor of agricultural and industrial chemicals, fertilizer and specialty products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the market.Duties:Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectivesManage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and supportIdentify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clientsAnalyze market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growthMonitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior managementNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clientsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service deliveryStay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in market dynamics
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or commensurate experience in related fieldProven experience as a Sales Director or similar roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategiesProficient in using CRM softwareStrong negotiation skills with the ability to close dealsCustomer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationshipsProven track record of driving business growth through successful sales initiativesAbility to travel interisland as needed
