POSITION SUMMARY:We're looking for an experienced General Manager who shares our commitment to excellence in property management to lead our luxury short-term rentals in the 30A area of Florida. You are our ideal candidate if you have a proven track record in property management, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring the highest property maintenance and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Property Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of various properties daily to identify and document any damage caused by previous guests or maintenance issues arising from normal home use.

Issue Resolution: Address minor maintenance tasks on-site, including changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and performing basic repairs as needed.

Guest Services Support: Collaborate with the guest services team to assist with any in-house guest issues that cannot be resolved by them, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.

Communication: Maintain clear and frequent communication with internal team members to ensure any findings are accurately relayed. Act as the eyes and ears on the ground, providing detailed reports on property conditions.

Homeowner Liaison: Work closely with the dedicated homeowner communication team to ensure that any significant issues or concerns identified during inspections are promptly communicated to homeowners, allowing them to address these matters directly.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks performed, including before-and-after photos where applicable.

Problem-Solving: Use your knowledge and experience in home maintenance to diagnose and address minor issues effectively and efficiently, minimizing disruption for guests and homeowners.

Team Coordination: Coordinate with other team members to ensure that all inspection and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards while performing inspections and maintenance tasks, ensuring that properties are safe and up to code.

Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and suggestions to improve inspection processes and maintenance procedures, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of service quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in managing a team of people is required

High school diploma is required

Communicator: Effectively communicate with your supervisors and the rest of the team here at LocalVR. We use industry-leading technology to communicate with your team and keep your workload up-to-date.

Problem Solver: We wish we could say we have seen everything and know every answer to every problem but sadly, that is not the case. Be ready to expect the unexpected.

Organization: Self manage and route your day, keep track of maintenance items that come up throughout the day and do an effective job at reporting them.

Responsible and Reliable: We understand that people make mistakes and many times things do get missed in an inspection. The important part is your willingness to improve and recognize your mistakes and make sure they do not happen again. We will be counting on you to self manage your day and do the best job you possibly can. Be reliable. Show up to work on time, complete the tasks for the day and communicate with the team.

You occasionally may be required to to lift up to 30lbs.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and possess a valid driver's license.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with on-call shifts as assigned.
