The QA Lead will be responsible for leading the QA team, developing test strategies, and ensuring the quality of the code developed or being implemented.The opportunity:Hybrid-In office/remoteLead and mentor the QA team, including both onshore and offshore resources.Allocate tasks, manage workloads, and ensure deadlines are met.Provide guidance and support to team members in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for ETL processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Development, Business Analysts, Project Managers) to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.Define test objectives, create test cases, and establish metrics to measure test effectiveness.Perform hands-on testing of ETL processes, including data validation, data transformation, and data loading.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for ETL processes.Identify, report, and track defects, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.Validate data flows between different stages of the ETL process to ensure data integrity and accuracy.Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.Implement industry best practices for QA, including automation and CI/CD integration.Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization within the ETL testing lifecycle.Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Generate regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall QA metrics.Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders on QA activities, risks, and issues.Work closely with development teams to understand the architecture, design, and implementation of ETL processes.Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that testing aligns with business requirements and objectives.Participate in project meetings and provide QA input and recommendations.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position.
