Role Overview:

The Senior Development Civil Engineering Project Engineer is involved in all aspects of civil design for utility scale solar photovoltaic, battery energy storage, and wind projects. The role includes a wide variety of diverse assignments such as due diligence, sitings, feasibility studies, new technology evaluations, conceptual designs, and cost estimates.Main responsibilities:

Assist with engineering quantity estimations and provide permitting supportMaintain and improve existing scope of works, guidelines, specifications, schedule, and budget templatesOversee, guide, and manage the work of third-party consultantsConduct preliminary hydrology and hydraulic designs and calculationsProvide comprehensive support for all departments in matters pertaining to Hydrology and HydraulicsPreliminary Grading Analysis/design using Civil 3DEnsure that the civil portion of the estimated balance of plant cost is optimized by providing accurate project layouts and major quantity takeoffsParticipate in value-added engineering studies of alternative design approachesAdditional duties as requiredEmployment type

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university0-3 years of experience in civil site designProfessional Engineering license is preferred, in any state, but not requiredProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office productsProficient with HydroCAD, HEC-HMS or other similar hydrology modeling softwareProficient in hydraulic design software (HEC-RAS, Flo2D, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, etc)Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D design and ArcGISKnowledgeable with applicable industry standards and codes including Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Building Code (IBC), American Concrete Institute (ACI)Travel:
