Functional Business Analyst

Seeking Functional Business Analyst to provide business and analytical expertise in support of an Audit Support Integration project. Will be responsible for partnering with business to gain solid understanding of the client's objectives and knowledge of core processes. Will prepare overall designs and detailed specifications for system components along with other documentation of project deliverables such as requirements specification, design and test results.
This will be in support of a proposal rebid effort.
Identifying business requirements:Working with clients and subject matter experts to identify and analyze business requirementsInterpreting business requirements:Simplifying business requirements for easier analysis and decision-makingConducting gap analyses:Analyzing gaps and developing strategies and solutions to address themCommunicating with stakeholders:Translating stakeholders' needs and expectations into strategies and milestones for a projectAnalyzing data:Using data analytics tools to gather, review, and analyze business and industry data to inform business decisionsModeling business processes:Identifying opportunities for process improvement and creating functional specifications for solutionsDocumenting processes:Maintaining documentation regarding projects, processes, and operationsAssessing options for process improvementIdentifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions
Requirements 5+ Years of experience:
Excellent work ethic, communication and organizational skillsKnowledge of the interdependencies of key business processes, functions, and Story/Acceptance criteria developmentData Analysis tools and techniques, reporting: SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BIExperience with process modeling, map and analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies and propose improvementsAbility to document, track and manage requirementExperience working in Agile development environment.
