Responsibilities

Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the projectDetermining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or productPreparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or serviceCreating labor estimates for any projectDeveloping and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractorsManaging bids from vendors and contractorsUsing bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysisPresenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholdersCompiling and recording actual costsRequirements

Prior estimating experience in the construction fieldProficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysisExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailReport writing and strategic planning skillsFamiliarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for projectsExpertise with analytic tools, and spreadsheetsAbility to read and interpret technical documentsExcellent written communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional time management skills
