Job Description:This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
Looking for a Feature lead to support API development and integration processes on Brokerage Authorization platform. This position will require hands-on experience in designing & developing complex solutions in line with demanding client requirements, work with enterprise architecture and other project teams. The candidate should have the ability to support parallel projects, in waterfall/agile development methodologies in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is key and should mentor new team members.
The candidate is expected to take responsibility in owning and managing the end to end technical delivery of all the projects. Additional Roles and Responsibilities: • Collaborate with architects and IT project managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements • Interacting with the client to obtain the requirements, analyzing the requirements, preparing the specifications, designing the modules and tasks for the team members • Technically own and manage the process of ensuring timely build of the various elements of the solution • Define standards and guidelines around Scalability, Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring for end-to-end process execution
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops and is accountable for feature deliveryApplies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and qualityEnsures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debtGuides the team on work breakdown and executionWorks with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteriaPlays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the teamGuides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)Experience with Agile Development & ability to work with global delivery team to implement the technology solutionsStrong communication skills and attention to detailsKnowledge on Application Security and StandardsExperience in brokerage and trading servicesRequired Qualifications:
15+ years' experience in design and development of high quality applicationsExperience doing full lifecycle API development using API Designer, API Console, API Portal/Exchange, and Runtime ManagerStrong hands on experience in Core Java, spring and related technologiesStrong experience with HTTP REST and Web services protocols and different data formats including JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, and SOAPExperience with Agile Development & ability to work with global delivery team to implement the technology solutionsStrong communication skills and attention to detailsKnowledge on Application Security and StandardsExperience in brokerage and trading servicesDesired Qualifications:
Experience working with Micro Service technologiesShould have recent development experience, the role is equally split between leading the team and hands on programmingLead a team of 5-7 developers to design and develop scalable and resilient systemsAbility to simplify complex informationFamiliarity with Modernization or Reengineering projects and strategiesSkills:
