We are looking for a Commercial Tax Services Senior to join our Tax Department in our West Los Angeles office. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities:
Prepares federal, state and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust)Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoringReview tax information supplied by client and obtain open itemsAssist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-upPerform tax research to resolve issuesIdentify and communicate tax matters to Managers and PartnersBuild relationships with clients and staffQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firmCPA or (in progress) preferredPossess knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws –individual, trust, gifts taxationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsResponsive to clientsMust have excellent client service skillsApproaches projects with a sense of urgencyHighly motivatedOutstanding analytical, organizational and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge of Axcess and Go File Room is a plusWhat we offer:

For positions in California, the salary range is $95,000 -- $115,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
