The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across various lines of business to proactively identify change needs and pinpoint opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, innovation, communication, and strategic planning. The role involves assessing the impact of proposed changes, meticulously capturing and documenting requirements, and ensuring their successful delivery while providing support to the Team throughout the implementation process. Serving as a liaison between Information Technology and key business functional areas, the Senior Business Analyst will actively seek to understand and contribute to the business's priorities. The Senior Business Analyst will step in to offer guidance and direction to the teams who use critical business applications. The Senior Business Analyst will handle Strategic projects and issues identified by the business and assigned by Information Technology leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for other tasks, including but not limited to:
Provide effective business applications and processes analysis utilizing analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Working with the user community to rectify issues, build templates and forms.and educate users on how to utilize software correctly.Employ a comprehensive approach to gather pertinent information regarding data flows, through report reviewing, observation, and interviews. Conduct thorough business analysis to derive meaningful insights, enabling the formulation of strategic recommendations to sustain and improve application functionality, business processes, and reporting infrastructure.Conducting data analysis and making recommendations (cost-benefit, forecasting, and impact analysis).Work on strategic projects either under the guidance of Information Technology leadership or independently.Develop and write comprehensive, accurate, clear, and well-structured specification requirements for business owner signoff and for use in the development process.Generate accurate and comprehensive business sequence, workflow, dataflow, and/or process flow diagrams as needed to support and enhance business operations.Present findings, recommendations, and updates adeptly, delivering effective presentations to multiple levels of management with clarity and impact.Aid in the design, documentation, and maintenance of system processes to ensure clarity and efficiency.Perform functional and some user acceptance testing, accompanied by thorough documentation of identified issues and results.Qualities needed for a successful Senior Business Analyst:To excel in the role of a Senior Business Analyst requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership acumen and organizational skills.
