Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals including federal and multi-state tax returns.2. Conducting research on complex tax issues and new legislation to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.3. Collaborating with internal teams to understand and address client needs, providing expert tax advice to help them navigate their financial landscape.4. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.5. Identifying and mitigating tax risks and liabilities.6. Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and changes in tax laws.7. Providing support during tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.8. Assisting with the implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client wealth.9. Managing direct reports and reviewing tax preparations, along with signing off on documents.10. Collaborating directly with C-Suite in reviews, setting goals, and management duties.11. Ability and desire to lead and grow our tax team.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.3. A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting or working with HNWI for tax returns.4. Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and laws.5. Proficiency in tax software (UltraTax experience highly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
