iOS Engineer
We're hiring a software engineer to work on our iOS mobile application. This app is the way that hundreds of thousands of people control their smart Pura fragrance diffuser. From controlling the smart diffuser hardware to managing fragrance subscriptions, your code will be making a meaningful difference in how people interact with our product.
You'll be working in a cross-functional team of talented people from across the world where everybody can participate in the solution and make an impact on the product we deliver to customers. Ideally you'll have worked on iOS applications before, but if you're well-versed in Swift and have a curious mind, you'll pick things up no problem. We believe nobody starts any role as an expert. We want to find motivated candidates who want to do their best work rather than finding someone who has done it before. As a progressive company, we love to learn new skills, grow, and have fun. Therefore we're not afraid of adopting new technologies that could help us increase our development speed and deliver the best experience to our customers.
What you'll own:
Building out a new user experience to manage brand new diffusers for spaces other than the homeEnhancing the controls for our existing hardware device to match new hardware capabilitiesBuild native experience for managing fragrance subscriptionsWork with our QA team to ensure the application is testable and deliverableLeverage existing technology to create a world class user experience in controlling the Pura Smart Home Diffuser: AWS IoT, Firebase, and Bluetooth Low EnergyIdentify areas where we can improve and work to minimize tech debt.Experience you'll need:
Demonstrated emphasis on delivering quality solutions.Be able to own and deliver projects with little oversight.3-5 years of engineering experienceEmphasis on code quality and customer experience.Ability to work with remote employees using video calls and frequent written communication.
