Responsibilities:

As an IT Specialist with Hamilton Medical, you will have a direct impact on patient care by ensuring smooth operation and strategic development of our technology infrastructure. Specifically, you will oversee all aspects of IT, including end-user support, system administration, and security. A successful IT Specialist will bring a service-oriented mindset to manage projects and relationships between local and international teams and implement IT strategies that align with business goals.This position reports to the Director of Operations for Hamilton Medical. This is a full-time onsite role at our USA headquarters in Reno, NV.

Essential FunctionsManage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware and software.Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.Identify and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.Effectively prioritize workflow between external and internal employee requests.Proactively identify and address IT risks and security threats.Ensure compliance with all relevant IT regulations and standards.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, domestically and internationally.Coach computer users on topics associated with their computer problems.Manage and drive the completion of IT projects for the company providing regular progress updates to leadership and project stakeholders.Maintain an organized inventory of IT hardware. Coordinate with the purchasing and management team to keep appropriate supplies in stock.Onboard and offboard new or existing employees.Stay informed on the latest IT trends and technologies.Prepare regular reports on IT performance and metrics for management.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:RequiredExcellent communication skills (verbal, listening, and written), including the ability to interface effectively with international teams and stakeholders at all levels.Strong knowledge of IT security best practices.General knowledge of ERPs.Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.PreferredGeneral knowledge of manufacturing processes.Excellent leadership skills.

Education/Experience:RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related IT field.Proven experience in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure.Experience leading IT initiatives and providing broad support to end-users.PreferredExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).Specialty IT certifications, such as A+, Cisco, security-related, etc.Experience with project management methodologies.Broad, well-rounded IT experience.Proven job stability at prior employers.
