ABOUT THE ROLE

The Strategic Growth Specialist provides data management and market research support for firmwide strategic growth initiatives, lateral acquisitions and recruitment, and integration. Provides full life cycle support on special projects in recruiting, onboarding, and integration of lateral partners, of counsels, and newly promoted partners. Analyst responsibilities includes auditing and maintaining lateral data, preparing reports for analytical review by director, and identifying opportunities for improvements in business operations. Collaboratively works with strategic growth team senior managers of recruiting and integration in the coordination of multi-faceted projects. Tracks recruiting and integration processes, trends, and best practices for US, Asia, and Europe.Responsible for researching, compiling, and organizing lateral market intelligence data via industry research databases, association forums, media outlets for the planning of strategic business activities/initiatives as guided by the strategic growth director.Generate and audit routine lateral recruiting and integration activity reports for the strategic growth director and firmwide leadershipResponsible for the maintenance of all attorney records related to growth initiatives and special projects from targeting through onboarding; primary management of feedback from exploratory meetings and formal interviews. Initial tracking of non-attorney trailing team members for project-based reporting. Support strategic growth recruiting team with data entry of attorneys into applicant tracking database.Maintain all applicant tracking mechanisms and compile lateral recruiting data/statistics for various business reports in collaboration with Attorney Recruiting's firmwide operations team. Data/statistics to include but not limited to: applicant submissions, interviews, offers extended, offers declined, rejections, and onboarding activitiesCollaborates with firmwide Attorney Talent Group operations coordinator to provide lateral partner and of counsel population data for legal industry surveys (i.e., diversity and inclusion hiring and integration, etc).Collaborate with strategic growth senior managers of recruiting and integration to audit, track, and distribute updated documents on lateral processes, procedures, and protocols for US, Asia, and Europe.Create, audit, and manage all lateral recruiting business operation workflows (i.e. invoice processing via Chrome River, requisition and candidate record management via Taleo, hiring transactions via Workday, etc). Regularly collaborate with Attorney Recruiting's firmwide operations coordinator, HR systems analysts, and Finance analysts to keep workflow reference materials in sync with firm protocols and provide insights on any firmwide collectives.Process various payments and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the reporting of all lateral items.Assist strategic growth senior managers of recruiting and integration with budget data entry and tracking.ABOUT YOU

Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of legal recruiting experience in a mid-size to large law firm; related data analyst and marketing research experience preferred.Strong technology skills in MS Office products with high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Proficient in legal industry business and competitive intelligence databases. Familiarity with Human Resources recruiting and onboarding systems and relational databases preferred.High client service ethic and a proven record in delivering exemplary client satisfaction to external and internal client constituencies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside the firm.Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment demonstrating reliability, dependability and flexibility is essential.Excellent organizational, process, and follow-through skills. Ability to timely prepare accurate and highly detailed work product.Strong problem-solving acumen: anticipating issues, assessing information, and proactively providing responsive solutions.Adept at organizing time, prioritizing assignments, and working independently. Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

San Francisco salary range: $62K to $92K
