Job Description

To Identify, coordinate, document, and implement business requirements by determining solutions that enhance business systems, such as Oracle HCM Learn, Talent & Performance, as well as provides support to business operations and processes under general supervision. To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a moderate degree of latitude. Work with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality. Using working knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications, assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology.

Responsibilities

Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statisticsAnalyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and outputIdentify business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output) using elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all of the stakeholder's needsDevelop, recommend and document adjustments to workflow to streamline processesCoordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibilityDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within talent managementInvolved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or servicesWork with project teams to plan, coordinate and rollout software change/release to Controlled Testing and Production, obtain required approvals as scheduled, and transition project to ProductionInteract with other ISD staff, HR Systems and business units (end users) in problem resolution effortsUtilize performance measurements and indicators to identify areas for improvement; develop process improvement plans for each performance indicator or area identifiedPartner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to managementImplement new/enhanced products, services and/or operational changesIdentify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projectsInterpret results of analysis; present recommendations, alternatives and implicationsWrite requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projectsDevelop and oversee project plans and roadmaps that outline preventative and corrective actions necessary to remediate control deficiencies, maximizing effectiveness and mitigating future exposureDevelop test plans, test criteria, scenarios, and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutionsConduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting resultsApply and communicate changes and new trends in systems/technologyRepresent the business unit in identifying, analyzing and communicating system solutionsConduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutionsResearch emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goalsMonitor performance of systems to ensure continued systems efficiencyCollaborate with key partners in development and delivery of solutionsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of HCM Oracle, LMS, OTBI experienceExperience in Oracle HCM (Learn, Talent, Performance)Experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issuesExperience in working in and with collaborative work teamsExperience in leading projects and/or initiatives of small to medium scope, using project management skillsExperience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling (Oracle OTBI)Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective organizational, planning and time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced word processing and spreadsheet software skillsEffective skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutionsExperience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, and business processesHours:
