OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst II to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be coordinating and conducting complex system analyses that are crucial to our business partners operation. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying, documenting and implementing business requirements to enhance our existing systems and processes. Under general supervision, you will analyze business needs and develop tailored solutions that leverage technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the department.As a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will work collaboratively to understand their needs and identify potential solutions that align with our strategic objectives. Your analytical skills and innovative mindset will enable you to provide critical support to business operations, ensuring that our systems not only meet current demand but also anticipate future challenges.If you are passionate about optimizing business processes and have a proven track record in system analysis, we invite you to apply and contribute to our mission of continuous improvement and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate operational efficiency and effectivenessAnalyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statisticsUses elicitation techniques to gather information at the right level of detail and scope to represent all the stakeholder's needsAnalyze, define and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and outputIdentifying business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)Develop and document adjustments to workflow to streamline processesCoordinate integration of solutions with existing applications; identify and resolve existing conflicts to ensures compatibilityDevelop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards, best practices, business processes and technology used within related business areas to ensure compliance with policy, vendor contractual requirements, procedures, processes and standardsInvolved in cross-organizational task groups concerning new automated systems, products and/or servicesWork with project teams to plan, coordinate and rollout software change/release to Controlled Testing and Production, obtain required approvals as scheduled, and transition project to ProductionInteract with other technology partners, business units (end users) in problem resolution effortsPartner with other business units and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to managementIdentify and communicate key responsibilities and practices, evaluate results, and provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful implementation of business unit projectsDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesServe as resource for the resolution of complex and/or unique problemsWrite requirements and define editorial workflow for business owner projectsAppy change management principles and knowledge to develop strategies including organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and change roadmaps and plansEnsure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documentedDevelop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutionsConduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting resultsReport testing activity including time spent, testing time lost and discrepancies foundApply and communicate changes and new trends in systems/technologyConduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutionsProven experience in negotiating and influencing decisions with stakeholdersPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders verbally and in writingExperience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issuesExperience in projects and/or initiatives of small to medium scopeExperience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsExperience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow.Experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiativesEffective research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsEffective organizational, planning and time management skillsEffective skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulationsEffective skill interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of informationAdvanced word processing and spreadsheet software skillsEffective database and presentation software skillsEffective skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutionsBachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experienceHours:
