Job Description
This role will support our Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) team. This team focuses on interoperability and ensuring Wellmark operates in the most modern and government compliant manner for FHIR-based APIs. This is a crucial part of the team that will work with the product team (business and technology areas) to understand business functions, processes, challenges, opportunities, and impacted systems. You will validate alternative system solutions to meet overall business requirements. In addition, you will analyze, model and document requirements for cross functional solutions and support of solutions. You will collaborate with Technology partners on initiatives of varying scope, size, and complexity to ensure solutions and teams are aligned to meet business objectives. You will engage with stakeholders to clarify business requirements and communicate technical changes to a sometimes non-technical audience.

Preferred:
Prior experience working with interoperability in a federal government regulated industry.
Health Level Seven (HL7) / Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) preferred.
Experience reading Implementation Guides and eliciting detailed system requirements from them.
Experience working in the AWS cloud ecosystem
Technical acumen, prior experience supporting a backend development team with knowledge of API’s.
Experience in a SAFe Agile environment / working in a product organization
Experience consulting with stakeholders
Experience using agile requirements management tools like Azure DevOps
Experience partnering with global staffing vendors to deliver projects
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or equivalent certification
Required:
5 years of direct and applicable experience OR bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field of study plus one year of business and systems analysis, including demonstrated experience eliciting detailed business requirements and using a variety of elicitation techniques and documentation and capability framework and/or testing.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences and vice versa
Demonstrated experience effectively prioritizing and organizing to maximize personal and business efficiency
Strong problem solving/ trouble shooting skills
Strong collaboration skills, with the flexibility to adapt to different stakeholders
Additional Information
a. Responsible for the execution of initiatives of varying scope, size, and complexity for specific business areas and provide support to Technology partners on enterprise-wide engagements.
b. Work with Wellmark stakeholders to define and develop technical solutions. Ensure the correct stakeholders are actively participating and collaborate with Technology partners and stakeholders to clarify understanding of high level business needs and requirements.
c. Elicit, analyze, model, and document detailed requirements by using a variety of elicitation techniques, understanding business processes, alignment, and technology solutions.
d. Validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team by communicating and presenting requirements artifacts, models, and deliverables appropriate to stakeholder needs for projects of varying scope, size, and complexity.
e. Manage requirements and facilitate requirements change decisions by using traceability tools and techniques, prioritization techniques, approval processes, and requirements change management processes.
f. Adhere to software development lifecycle (SDLC), operational procedures, project management methodologies in performing business systems analysis.
g. Perform production support of assigned applications by researching, resourcing and resolving issues and coordinating the implementation of maintenance requests. May assist and/or interface in testing functions as appropriate.
h. Other duties as assigned.
