Job Description
What does the Human Resources Division do?
Our Human Resources team supports leaders and employees throughout the organization, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture where everyone can reach their full potential. We work collaboratively to enhance the employee experience, including everything from recruitment and onboarding to professional development and employee benefits.
What projects might I support?
Although subject to change, examples of work you will be contributing to include:Collaborate with various Human Resource team members to complete meaningful assignments that foster interpersonal relationships and provide exposure to teams across the Wellmark organizationSupport project and operational work where you will leverage problem solving skills, complete research deliverables, utilize communication skills (written, verbal, facilitation) and collaborate on results-oriented approachesEngage in programs and networking opportunities to strengthen business acumen in the health care industrySupport internship program by motivating and driving participation among your intern peers to fully engage with opportunities available throughout the summerReady to bring your strengths to Wellmark? Qualifications
Must be a current sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, communications, journalism, marketing, or related programAbility to build relationships and motivate othersExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with various business areasAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail, organizational and time management skillsAbility to adapt to changing environments, strong customer relations and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite
