Purpose:

The Recruiter plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting and qualifying candidates to improve our talent at our company. This position collaborates with hiring managers across the organization to attract top talent to join Morris Home and Ashley Furniture. The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle and high velocity searches to achieve key company objectives.

General Description of duties:Sourcing and Attracting Candidates: Identifying and attracting qualified candidates through various channels such as visiting local malls and businesses, job boards, social media, and networking events.Screening and Interviewing: Reviewing resumes, conducting initial screening interviews, and assessing candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for the role.Candidate Evaluation and Selection: Evaluating candidates based on their qualifications, experience, and potential fit for the role, and making hiring recommendations to the hiring manager.Job Description Development: Collaborating with hiring managers to develop accurate and compelling job descriptions that effectively communicate the role's responsibilities and requirements.Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing: Promoting the company's employer brand and value proposition to attract top talent through various marketing channels.Offer Negotiation and Extending: Negotiating offers with selected candidates, including compensation packages, benefits, and start dates.Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization, and providing necessary information and resources.Maintaining the Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Ensuring the proper setup, maintenance, and effective utilization of the ATS to streamline candidate sourcing, tracking, and management throughout the recruitment process.Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.Relationship Management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders involved in the recruitment process.Metrics and Analytics: Tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness to continuously improve and optimize recruitment strategies.Qualifications:

Working knowledge of best-in-class strategies for talent acquisitionExperience in full cycle and high-volume recruitingExperience with an Applicant Tracking SystemDemonstrated sales recruiting successUnderstanding of legal regulations around recruiting and interviewingExceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational abilitiesDeep personal accountability, genuine love of collaboration, and passion for growing a career in recruitingRequirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years of recruiting experienceUp to 25% travel to stores and our corporate office
