Summary:

ValidaTek is seeking a dynamic Senior .Net Developer to lead software development for one of our Defense Customers. The ideal candidate will have technical experience developing software capability and leading modernization efforts. As the Senior .Net Developer you will perform requirements analysis; decompose requirements into features, user stories and tasks; perform custom development; deploy solutions to development, test and production environments utilizing various tools and remediate software bugs found in testing and production. Development to integrate with other software systems via APIs is also in scope for this role.Responsibilities:Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and testing of software applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutionsManage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environmentEnsure adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and project timelinesCoordinate with other teams to integrate software components and manage dependenciesParticipate in code reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiativesStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities and project outcomesQualifications:

Must possess a DoD Secret clearance at minimumMust possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree, and at least 7 years' of software development experienceMinimum 5 years' of experience developing software applications using an Agile development frameworkExperience with a .NET-compatible language such as C#Proficiency in .NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, SQL, C#, Azure, Azure DevOps, Workflow, Networking, and FirewallsAbility to interact with customers to understand requirements and create solutionsAbility to manage complex infrastructure managed by different teamsExperience leading an agile team through development and testing of scientific applicationsProficiency in Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) or alternativesExperience with automated testingExperience with CI/CD pipelinesPreferred Experience:Experience with Public Key Encryption (PKI) authentication and username-password authentication is preferredExperience with spectrum (radio frequency) management systems (commercial, government or DOD)DOD software development experienceSoftware modernization experience

Posted Min Pay Rate:USD $95,577.60/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate:USD $159,296.00/Yr.

Salary Disclosure:Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
