SENIOR Product Owner/Business Analyst - IS Enterprise Analytics
SUMMARY
The senior data engineer is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in Data Warehouse and BI development implementations. He/she will be part of the team to review, analyze and modify data, testing, debugging, integration and implementation processes. Tasks will also include documenting technical needs for databases, and ensuring optimal technical infrastructure is utilized. This position involves the delivery of big data integration projects and requires leveraging best practices expertise and experience at implementation; as well as effective technology know-how to support the ongoing activity of those working within business intelligence and analytics teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS In-depth knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project Work closely with business teams to create user stories and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new data product and features Assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize user stories and features to ensure work aligns with product strategy Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals Understanding of business value related to features and functions Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions Knowledge of the Healthcare Ecosystem and Use Cases - e.g., Care Workflows, Careplans, Prior Auth, Population Health, Segmentation/Stratification, Risk Computation, etc. (Nice to Have). Understanding and knowledge of Terminology Standards such as ICD10, CPT, Snomed, LOINC, RXNorm, ERGs, RERGs, DRGs (Nice to Have). Experience in a healthcare setting with deep exposure to Payer and Provider oriented terminologies (Nice to Have). Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness Participate in higher level planning efforts. Play a role in definition of process/guidelines/standards Direct support of business intelligence and analytics teams LEADERSHIP
Comfortable engaging with personnel at all levels of leadership Ability to listen to others and incorporate good ideas regardless of source Professional in all communication and interaction with others Willing to admit mistakes and make course corrections quickly Ability to help devs on the team to move past self resolvable roadblocks ANALYSIS & COMMUNICATION
Ability to assess/analyze information needs objectively Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to drill down and ask the right questions to arrive at root cause Confident in front of both management and developer audiences; ability to customize communication for both Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new business domains and technologies Good written communication skills; ability to use correct grammar and structure communication in a way that makes it easy to understand Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders, navigate difficult conversations, remain objective and achieve sound outcomes STRONGLY PREFERRED:
Working knowledge of SQL database experience Comfortable with ambiguity; comfortable iterating toward a destination rather than knowing it ahead of time Self-starter; takes advantages of all possible venues for continuous learning Enjoys working with teams, both inside and outside of his/her immediate area Hungry to learn/master new approaches to information management REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience required. Requires experience in various business areas and applications (package and custom). Requires Experience implementing or supporting applications (ERP, HR payroll, finance). Requires experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Vizio, Word).
