Position Purpose
The Information Security Analyst II is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining proactive security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. This position works with internal teams to analyze security risks and recommend solutions. This position will be responsible for implementing information security controls; cybersecurity operations including maintaining awareness of new and emerging cybersecurity threats; identifying threats and vulnerabilities; and providing information security awareness training.

•Five years applied experience planning, installing, documenting, maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting Cybersecurity systems•Experience in supporting cybersecurity in an enterprise environment with multiple systems and users•Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor, team members, peers, vendors, and constituents of campus community•Demonstrated ability to research, identify, troubleshoot, and remediate cybersecurity threats•Familiarity and understanding of MITRE ATT &CK TTPs•Systems Security Certified Practitioner ( SSCP ) certification or equivalent experience (preferred)•Practical project management experience (preferred)•Knowledge of programming languages (Python, BASH , PHP , JAVA , etc.) (preferred)•Applied experience Linux operating systems (preferred)•Ability to interpret and apply broad regulatory requirements and standards to assignments
