Diverse project portfolio and a growing company.Reputable Mechanical Contractor in Western, MA!About Our ClientOur client is one of Boston's premier Mechanical Contractors:Founded in 2020incredible success and growth in just 3 years.Starting out as a one person show during covid, the owner was able to grow the company into 80 strong, split between field and office staff.Over the last few years, this Mechanical Contractor has partnered with some of Massachusetts biggest general contractors.Job DescriptionThe Estimator will be responsible for:Communicate in a professional manner with both clients, business partners, and colleagues.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.Review and interpret project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts to develop a clear and detailed understanding of the project scope.Identifies discrepancies and gaps in the documents that must be filled in for a complete proposal.Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Solicits subcontractor and vendor pricing and ensures proper scope inclusion.Completes detailed labor and material takeoffs.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
