The Application Support Specialist is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across the business, and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure.
Responsibilities :
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Proficient knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Prologue, Synergy, Alkami, Image CenterFunction as the system administrator for managed applicationsPrepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the application and systems, and coordinate testing of new releasesManage alert monitoring for all ancillary applications and prepare communications to affected business unitsConsult with leaders and other professionals on workflow operations and how to optimize themAct as the technical liaison between the vendor/service provider and the internal business unitProvide technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when requiredAssist with systems integrationsManage the ticketed query system and ensure database of queries and resolutions is kept up to dateMaintain and update technical documents and proceduresIdentify and resolve technical issuesDeliver regular and customized training to teams within the businessRequirements:
College degree in one of the following disciplines: IT, Computing Studies, Information Systems, Business Administration OR equivalent work experienceIntimate knowledge of the organization's systems: Symitar Episys Quest, Meridian Link LPQ, Meridan Link Xpress Accounts, Mortgagebot LOS & POS, Finastra Servicing Director, Prologue, Synergy, Alkami, Image CenterAbility to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledgeExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExtraordinary customer service and relationship management experienceCritical thinking skills
