Job Summary : The Part-Time Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing various administrative tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities :Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments.Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting rooms.Perform basic clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry.Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies as needed.Provide general administrative support to various departments as requested.Assist with organizing company events and meetings.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Qualifications :High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Friendly and professional demeanor.Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Reliable and punctual.Working Hours :Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM - 5:00 PMAbout:Major Tool & Machine (MTM) was founded in 1946, starting with only four employees to support the commercialization of the jet engine following World War II.Today, MTM is a contract manufacturer in Indianapolis, Indiana with a 600,000 sqft. manufacturing facility, 400+ skilled employees, best-in-industry business and quality systems, and project management expertise.We provide large complex CNC milling and turning machining, manual and robotic welding, engineering, program management, inspection, and assembly services to our partners in the Power Generation, Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, and Commercial Industries.Excellent Benefits including:
