Inside Sales Manager

for our US based operations. The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic, capable, self-managed, and experienced Inside Sales Manager who will be responsible for all inside sales functions, including but not limited to supporting outside sales team members and channel partners, defining a common inside sales process, establishing best work practices, developing standardized proposal documents, and other requirements that are identified and essential to move towards a "One Process Insights" experience for our external customers and partners. This individual will require a "get it done" attitude and a "team" mentality and be able to develop consensus across a multi-site based inside sales team with different practices and legacies.

As the

Inside Sales Manager

for Process Insights, you are an integral component of the overall sales team and sales effort in the development and growth of our overall Process Insights business. The position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing, Industrial. You manage a team of inside sale specialists, responsible for the quality and timeliness of their output, their ongoing development, and adherence to working practices of a cohesive inside-outside sales team. You establish and maintain KPIs to indicate trends and current and future health of the business. It includes direct responsibility for proposals, price management and other key inside sales functions, for customers, channel partners, and intercompany requests. It will require close coordination with the outside sales teams and ensuring that inside and outside teams are a collaborative and dynamic process. This position will also service intercompany requirements for the EMEA and APAC business teams, our export sales to those teams, as well as the management of pricing and price lists for the products imported and marketed from our European manufacturing subsidiaries.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Manage and develop a growing proposal development team, for responsive and accurate solutions as requested by customers and outside sales teams (sales partners, RSM, product sales specialists)• Coordinate proposal technical and commercial strategies with RSMs and Product Sales Specialists• Coordinate application reviews with RSMs and Product Sales Specialists for accurate and competitive, and most importantly...Winning Proposals• Provide application and pricing forms and tools to our sales teams and sales partners, as well as provide training for familiarity on effective use of those• Maintain and communicate price lists, including those that support account pricing agreements• Distribute price list updates, communicate price increases, product configuration changes, etc.• Incorporate Service offerings to all applicable proposals• Work with the CSR team to assure that our proposals lead to orders that they can easily review, acknowledge, and process on receipt• Adhere to corporate policies and procedures, health and safety policies, quality standards and laws, and legal standards• Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance• Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the Company or elsewhere subject to Company approval• 25% travel is anticipated to the operating sites and sales channel meetings and training• Perform other work-related duties as assigned, including the support of other departments as required

Requirements

Qualifying Attributes and Skills:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering• A minimum of seven to ten years in a technical field or equivalent analyzer experience• Knowledge of industrial analytical products and applications• Proficient with Microsoft PC based software• Proficient with Salesforce• Proficient with an ERP system• Well organized, self-directed team player and manager• Ability to function in a self-motivated manner, and motivate a team• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Willingness to assist with tasks, even when the work is out of the scope of responsibilities
