This role is responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best Sales Associates for the store and driving a high-level of performance.Your work will ensure our guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves experience. This role is a great opportunity for an energetic and proactive person to catapult your career with us!What You'll Do:Hires, trains, supervises and monitors the performance of the new- and used-vehicle department managers.Meets with sales managers (new and used) to establish annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.The Sales Manager will promote the company's core values and have the ability to positively influence the team's success.Oversee all activities occurring in the vehicle showroomCoach salespeople on best practices for closing more vehicle deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performanceSet sales goals, track progress, and lead team to achieve and exceed those quotasSupport sales team to set realistic and aggressive monthly targets and support deal closure and approvalHandle retail related concerns and coordinate with salespeople to close vehicle purchase dealsRespond to customer complaints and ensure highest level of customer satisfactionForecast sales for upcoming months and quarters and compile the necessary reports for dealership management to reviewStep in to answer customer questions and issues when requiredCoordinate and lead all regular sales meetings with the sales staff to plan and implement salesDevelop and manage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective salesAnticipate sales and expenses goals monthly and annually and prepare departmental operating budgetMonitor departmental customer satisfaction ratings and ensure potential buyer follow up to develop, execute and supervise sales control system.Recommend color, model and equipment based on inventory needsReview and monitor customer preference and operational records to focus automotive sales effortsWhat You'll Need:Full time availability.
