The Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Facilities and Maintenance manager and lead all aspects of the plant maintenance department. The Maintenance Supervisor will help aid and improve the operational performance of the plant through evaluation and improvement of current preventive and predictive maintenance programs; development of maintenance and production team members; and working with others to make continuous improvement throughout the plant.

What You Will Do:

Lead a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Mentor staff, delegate tasks strategically, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Provide reliable support to production teams by addressing troubleshooting needs, problem analysis, and swift resolution of equipment failures, thus minimizing downtime.Enhance the current Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs for all production and facility equipment. Collaborate with the continuous improvement manager to refine these programs based on efficiency and effectiveness metrics.Actively participate in the implementation of the Clean-Inspect-Lube (CIL) program, contributing to the development of the company’s autonomous maintenance practices.Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation protocols are executed in accordance with company standards.Manage and optimize the inventory of spare parts using Limble and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) items, ensuring availability while maintaining cost efficiency.Coordinate the installation and maintenance of new equipment, developing appropriate PM schedules to maximize equipment longevity and performance.Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with checks and testing as required by company policy and insurance carriers.Manage the team, including departmental scheduling, timecard approvals, coordinating vacation schedules, and arranging off-hour project work, always covering the production department with an emphasis on cost management.Engage in ongoing learning and development to maintain cutting-edge knowledge of maintenance strategies, tools, and techniques, identifying employees' strengths and opportunities for development and fostering cross-training and skill development.Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvements that can lead to increased efficiency and cost savings and have a world-class maintenance department.Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on maintenance team performance, driving accountability and continual improvement.Partners with the EHS manager to support regular safety inspections, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards. Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role and 8+ within an industrial maintenance environment.A solid background in manufacturing with direct experience in implementing and leading TPM initiatives is highly desired.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.Proven expertise in industrial plant maintenance with the ability to lead complex maintenance operations and initiatives.Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting and a methodical approach to problem-solving.Excellent analytical capabilities with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.Leadership acumen with robust interpersonal skills to manage and develop a diverse maintenance team.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive reports.Knowledge in CMMS, Limble preferredProficiency in Root Cause Analysis and other problem-solving methodologies is highly advantageous.Schedule:
