Sub-Chapter Lead,

Architecture and Product Requirement

Engineering

is responsible for leading the Architects and Product Owners for the Data Platform team. This role will work closely with the Lifecycle teams, D&A teams and the Data Platform teams in influencing the technical direction of the platform. The person will attract and develop talent within the organization.Responsibilities:Architectural Leadership:

Lead the creation and maintenance of data and technical architecture, aligning it with business goals and scalability requirements. A clear vision for architecture design and great communication skills to articulate that to all levels of stakeholders.

Technical Guidance and Mentoring:

Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Hire, onboard and develop talent within the organization to meet the business needs.

Collaborative Communication:

Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration. Collaborate with various stakeholders (Lifecycle, D&A, Enterprise Architecture and Commercial) teams in developing the Roadmap to accelerate business objectives.

Travel 10% required as applicable.

Qualifications:Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 10 years of professional progressive experience in Data Architecture and System Architecture with a focus on leading and managing software engineering teams.

Specialist knowledge:Healthcare Domain (Lab, Payor, Provider) experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in architecting Software as a Medical Device software is preferred.

Deep expertise in Cloud Technologies (Preferably AWS) is preferred.

Deep expertise in Healthcare Data Interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM, etc.) is preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $160,200 - $297,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
