Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, seeks a Neuropsychologist for the Neurosurgery Department within Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. This role involves active participation in the Section of Solid Tumor Oncology, encompassing clinical practice, teaching, research, and administrative duties, with a focus on providing neuropsychology support for neurosurgery programs.Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with specialization in neuropsychology.Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the State of New Jersey.Clinical experience and certification as a Neuropsychologist.Strong research background in cognitive neurosciences related to epilepsy, movement disorders, and/or neuro-oncology.History of funding around overlap of cognitive neuropsychology and neurosurgical and/or neurological disorders preferred.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Develop and maintain a clinical practice in neuropsychology to support neurosurgery programs which includes neurosurgical oncology, epilepsy, movement disorders and other areas.Engage in teaching activities to support the educational goals of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Division of Neurosurgery.Conduct research in neuropsychology, with a focus on cognitive neurosciences related to epilepsy, movement disorders, and neuro-oncology among others.Contribute to scholarly publications and seek external funding around the overlap of cognitive neuropsychology and neurosurgical and/or neurological disorders.Participate in administrative duties as assigned by the Division Chief, Chair, or Dean.Attend and contribute to departmental conferences, Grand Rounds, and community education programs.Ensure compliance with Rutgers' compliance standards and policies, including the Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.Perform other related duties as assigned.Physical Demands and Work Environment
