Job Summary
This is a Contract position at 100% FTE
Direct and oversee all medical care rendered to patients within the Emergency Department and UrgentCare Clinic while on duty. Supervise the clinical care, procedures, charting, and interactions with patientsand staff by residents, interns, students.
The position requires a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examinersand Board Eligibility or Certification in Emergency Medicine.

Department Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine provides comprehensive emergency services to a large local and referral population at multiple academic hospitals across the San Francisco Bay Area, including UCSF Hellen Diller Medical Center, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals in San Francsico and Oakland. The Department of Emergency Medicine hosts a fully accredited 4-year Emergency Medicine residency program and multiple fellowship programs. There are opportunities for leadership and growth within the Department and UCSF School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
Must have completed Emergency Medicine residency training and be Board Certified/Board. Eligible in Emergency MedicineRequires possession of a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical ExaminersCurrent DEA certification
