Senior Software Engineer.This position will be a key contributor to GN's existing and future Video product lines. The candidate will architect, design and implement key features on embedded systems with Android and/or RTOS.Job Responsibilities:Design, develop and implement Android framework enhancements for leading SoC based platformsEnhancing, Optimizing, Maintaining and leading Android and Kernel software developmentDevelop high performance and real-time audio and video streaming stacksExplore latest hardware and software architectures and build proof-of-concepts for next generation products based on latest Android distributionsContribute to team-based projects and manage individual project deadlines and deliverablesRequired Qualifications:5+ years with an MS/BS degree in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringStrong programming skills in Java and/or C/C++ on SoCExperience with any of the Android APIs like Camera2 API, gRPC, AIDL, ALSA, JNI and HAL level programmingEnhancing, Optimizing, Maintaining and leading Embedded and Kernel software developmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with SOC system architectures, especially familiar with bus protocols like MIPI, I2C, I2S, USB, HDMI and SPIExperience in programming in GPUs and DSPsKernel device driver development experience in Linux and AndroidAdaptation, optimization, and implementation of advanced image processing algorithms on SIMD processors, DSPs and GPUs using OpenCL or CUDAAndroid based appliance management and securityPay Transparency Notice :Depending upon experience and location, the target annual base salary for this position can range from $100,000.00 to $200,000.00In addition, you may be eligible for a 10%-15%discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-endCompensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experienceremain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer:GN Audio/Jabra makes life sound better by developing intelligent sound solutions that transform lives through the power of sound, enabling you to hear more, do more & be more than you ever thought possible.
