We are looking for an experienced senior attorney to help our clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters. You will advocate for clients, advise them on the best course of action, and implement their legal support plan. You should have previous trial experience, be able to manage a heavy caseload, and use your general counsel experience and interpersonal skills to mentor our lower-level associates to ensure a continued legacy of prosperity. If this sounds like an opportunity that is ideal for you, please contact us today.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the discovery process by conducting depositions, issuing interrogatories and requests for the production of documents, and reviewing discovery requests, responses, and responsive discovery materialsNegotiate client-focused resolutions and settlementsPerform legal researchCommunicate with clients, opposing counsels, witnesses, the court, and third parties regarding pending mattersConduct strategy sessions with clientsRepresent clients in all phases of litigationRepresent clients in trialKeep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and lawsSupervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniquesPrepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responsesAnticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clientsConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motionsQualifications
3+ years experiencePrevious experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitrationMember of state and local bar associations in good standingExceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skillsFive years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industryFour-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law schoolCompensation
