Aside from offering medical education and instructional courses at our brand-new state-of-the-art HQ, we are committed to representing and promoting the Arthrex brand through collaborative relationships with our Surgeons.
About The Role
The Biologics Manager is responsible for achieving monthly and annual predetermined Biologic goals and quotas within the company. This individual will maintain expert knowledge of our market-leading product portfolio in all Biologic related products, while working alongside our product leaders and sales team to drive success. This role reports to our President & Owner and requires a passion for orthopedics, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.
Territory
Indiana & North West Kentucky
This role is based out of our Indianapolis HQ.
Our Biologics Manager is Responsible for..
Ensuring that each territory meets and exceeds their individual Biologics sales targets.
Maintaining a close relationship with Arthrex product management and leadership team as it relates specifically to the bucket responsible for Biologics - (Tissue, Blood, Grafts, etc.)
Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to penetrate the local orthopedic Biologics market.
Establishing and nurturing relationships with residency and fellowship programs to drive product adoption, utilization, and brand awareness.
Coordinating and participating in continuous training and development programs to stay updated on product knowledge, surgical techniques, and industry trends.
Training and mentoring sales representatives on new products, surgical techniques, and sales strategies. (You should never fret over taking a phone call before or after hours.)
Collaborating closely with the product leadership and sales teams to strategize and achieve organizational goals.
Being visible in the field 50% of the week/month.
Regularly analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Maintaining meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
What Does It Take
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device sales, specifically within the Orthopedics or Biologics field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Willingness to travel extensively within the company's footprint.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
The ability to lift 35 pounds or more as required for product demonstrations and training sessions.
