Your Mission:
Lead the charge in designing and developing cutting-edge custom automation equipment. As our go-to expert, you'll blend hardware and software engineering skills with team leadership to deliver top-notch, turn-key solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Work with project teams to define system architecture and design electrical control systems.
- Create AutoCAD schematics, panel layouts, and prepare BOMs (Bills of Materials). Release hardware designs to the shop and support the build.
- Design and write control system software, including developing system software architecture and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) programs.
- Work closely with the controls build department on wiring and plumbing. Debug and commission equipment.
- Meet with customers and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure successful system run-off and installation.
- Develop electrical and pneumatic control designs.
- Connect and program peripheral hardware like servo motors, Vision systems, Robots, leak test systems, LVDTs, and data collection systems.
- Experience with network communications and protocols is a plus
- Debug hardware and software systems, ensuring smooth operation at every stage.
- Adhere to established controls standards and procedures, always keeping safety top of mind.
