DTMB Agency Services is in search of a Business Analyst 5. We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver outstanding customer service while addressing project and work request needs. This role offers an opportunity to join ongoing projects aimed at implementing new IT solutions to enhance efficiency and public support.
As a Business Analyst, you will be the bridge between DTMB and project stakeholders, providing expert facilitation and elicitation to help shape strategy and requirements for future enhancements and related work projects. You will be a key member of the DTMB Agency Services Business Analyst team, contributing to various work requests and the operational activities of the team.
We value candidates who are self-directed, well-organized, confident in their ability to build relationships, quick to adapt to new assignments, and flexible to changing needs or direction. While remote work may be possible at the discretion of the resource manager, candidates should be prepared to report to a Lansing, MI job location in line with DTMB's on-site work schedule (currently, 2 days a week).Key Responsibilities:Facilitate requirements elicitation meetings; experience with gap fit analysis and requirements refinement.Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs, formulating systems to align with overall business strategies.Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work.Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions.Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation.Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions.Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.Minimum of 1 year working on IT infrastructure projects.Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
