Nesco Resource is seeking a groundskeeper for our client in Glens Falls, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior property of the client's facility and assigned satellite buildings. Your duties will include landscaping, gardening, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance. Additional responsibilities include the relocation and disposal of various items as needed and assigned by the Lead Groundskeeper. All tasks must be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or G.E.D.
• Demonstrated aptitude and ability through previous practical experience in grounds maintenance.
• Proven mechanical skills.
• One to four years of experience performing similar work (preferred) or vocational school specific to job description.
• Experience in heavy equipment operation such as loader, skid steer, etc. (preferred).
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, as well as minor testing equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience using grounds equipment and tools, snow removal equipment, and vehicles.
• Experience painting, including necessary surface preparatory work.
• Minor building maintenance skills.

Salary Range:

The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $16.50 to $28.93 per hour. The exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, education, and certifications pertinent to the position, which may be above the listed job requirements.
